Here's a little Something for Your Sunday:
It has been said that "A comfortable house is a great source of happiness."
I couldn't agree more. Your home is the place where you get to be the most comfortable version of yourself. Your home doesn't care if you wake up with bed head, if you take the dog out in your underwear, or if you run through it's halls singing old-school Mariah Carey way to loud.
If you take a second to look around your own home, I bet you will notice small imprints that you have made. Imprints of who you are and the kind of life you live. For instance, I love walking up my stairs and seeing the old overflowing bookshelf reflected in the mirror I have leaning against the wall. I love that the colors of my books all somehow reflect the colors I decorate with - oranges, greens, reds, blues, tans. When I leave, there will be an indent in the carpet where that bookshelf sat, and there will be a memory of me in the house. And that makes me happy. Comfortably happy.
What is something that makes you feel comfortable in your home? What do you love about your place? What memory will your walls tell about you??
I'm going to curl up with one of my brightly colored books now ...
Love, Tiffany
